DIY Power packs (batteries absolutely not included) and other accessories designed for compact, portable and rugged power sources for the popular Elecraft KX series of ham radio transceivers.

In particlar, the KX3 operates within a set of specific and narrow ranges of voltage and power for optimal operation at 5, 10 and 15 watts of RF output. The highly sensitive RF stages of the KX series will pick up even minor amounts of radio frequency interference. Hence, these power solutions have all been designed with internal copper foil and ferrite bead shielding as necessary.

Note: These items are labelled "DIY" because they are not tested against any set of US or international standards. Please take this into consideration. If you prefer not to purchase the items and perform the build process yourself, I would be happy to provide a bill of materials and construction advice for a small negotiable fee.
